Hi, I’m Alejandra —
an Orton-Gillingham–trained tutor and CERI-certified Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher.
I hold a Reading Science Certificate from Mount St. Joseph University and a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science.
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a middle and high school librarian and currently teach a reading support class grounded in the Science of Reading.
I provide Orton-Gillingham–based tutoring for children in South Pasadena, helping students improve their reading skills.
My tutoring is structured, systematic, and individualized literacy instruction to help students build strong decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.
