Hi, I’m Alejandra —
an Orton-Gillingham–trained tutor and CERI-certified Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher.
I hold a Reading Science Certificate from Mount St. Joseph University and a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science.
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a middle and high school librarian and currently teach a reading support class grounded in the Science of Reading.
I currently provide Orton-Gillingham–based tutoring for children in the Pasadena area.
My tutoring is structured, systematic, and individualized to help students build strong decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.
